I know this might be kind of wrong but..

I really really wish there was more variety to styles for South Park art that is being blogged on Tumblr :c

The anime/manga style can be nice, but there are some really amazing artists who draw in a more cartoony style, a semi-realistic style, a flat out realistic style, even some off-key manga style. I just wish there was more appreciation for those other styles as well.

I’m in a bit of a financial situation right now and anything would be helpful.

I just lost the front brakes to my car and my car is going to be useless for a good time now which is how I get to my job about 30 miles away. My parents are going through a situation too and can’t really help me pay for this car fix, not to mention I /really/ need to pay them back for a bill I owe them so we can get through this summer.

Oh wow, you may get a longer answer then you bargained for with this.

See. I started out with the anime style, I think a lot of people did. It was different from what I’d seen before and I kind of enjoyed the wide eyes and expressiveness of the characters. But as I grew older I found myself.. losing interest in that artistic style, almost to a point of disdain. I enjoy watching some anime shows: FMA, AtLA, even some Soul Eater. But I can’t stand the hyperactivity of a lot of animes, it grates my nerves.  I really don’t like shows like Hetalia for that reason. 

I think some anime is beautiful. Despite my not liking anime in general, there is variety within the style, anime isn’t just one huge lumped together style. I just don’t really care for it.

Cartoons on the other hand are something I’ve enjoyed my entire life, starting from Disney moving to Pixar, Dreamworks. And more recently, artists like Elixirmy, Real-Faker, Hot-Choc, Crazy-Chibi, VivzMind… they really inspired me artistically to start drawing cartoons. And I love it. I never get so excited then to try to draw a little differently within the cartoon style, I love watching people animate in the cartoon style. And it’s so.. expressive. And so diverse. I just love it.

So LONG STORY SHORT, I like cartoons a lot better XD
